Birthday Celebration in Texas

We traveled to Texas to celebrate my birthday with our daughter. We took in as much of the sights as we could. We enjoyed the River walk, the pearl, traveled to Waco, toured around in Austin and visited a beautiful winery Friedricksburg.

We ate dinner at the Sugar Factory on the river walk. Super cute and fun place to celebrate a birthday. We had the sampler plate as an appetizer and the hamburger with the macaroni and it was delish! Don't forget the boat tour on the river walk.

If you love Mexican, we also ate at the Domingo restaurant on the river walk. Very cute place with good food and great atmosphere.

We also visited The Guenther House for brunch. Nice quiet little place kind of reminded us of The Old Mill in Tennessee. It has a cute gift shop where you can purchas a bag of their own mill. We had the biscuits with jam along with the chicken n waffles. We really enjoyed it!

We had a great visit in Waco at Magnolia. They have really turned it into something amazing. They have gift shops food trucks and an amazing bakery. The oatmeal cookie sandwich was the best I have ever had! The overall landscape is beautiful! For sure somewhere to put on your list of places to visit! We traveled over to Magnolia table for late lunch we enjoyed it as well! Make a reservation!

Our last stop was a beautiful winery in Fridericksburg called Augusta Vin. We meet a sweet lady with a lot of knowledge of the business. She was not only sweet but very informative. We enjoyed the wine as well as the beautiful scenery. The semi sweets were our favorites!

If you ever travel to Texas be sure to let me know if you check out any of these places!
